Today, I’m in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on my way to Taos. There’s a calm, uplifting energy surrounding the journey—everything feels as if it's unfolding with ease and grace. The desert light here is warm but soft, and the landscape carries a quiet presence that invites reflection. Santa Fe has a rhythm all its own—artistic, spiritual, and spacious. It’s easy to see why so many seekers are drawn here; there’s something about the air itself that feels contemplative.
In my meditation practice, Krishna continues to merge more deeply with me. I’m experiencing a growing sense of detachment—not the kind that feels cold or resistant, but one that is soft, peaceful, and free of longing or struggle. It’s as though my inner landscape is clearing—making space for something much more vast and gentle to take root.
This detachment is unfolding in a very natural way. The more I center my awareness on Krishna, the more my focus simply drifts from the material world. It’s not about rejecting anything; it’s more like being quietly content no matter what happens. The heart feels lighter. The mind rests more easily. There’s no need to grasp or plan—just a quiet trust that things are being cared for.
Yesterday, for example, the angels shared that someone who had been supporting our travels likely wouldn’t be contributing in the same way going forward. It felt like a subtle test to see if I would react emotionally—and I didn’t. There was peace. Then, in the background, Krishna smiled and said gently, “I have it either way.” That simple phrase carried so much reassurance. It reminded me that the Divine orchestrates every movement, every shift in support, every pause or redirection.
As I prepare to head north toward Taos, I feel a growing excitement. I just learned that the Hanuman Temple there allows camping on Friday and Saturday nights, and I’m considering staying a few days. There’s something beautiful about the idea of resting at a temple—sleeping under the stars with sacred sound and prayer close by.
Santa Fe has given me a deep sense of grounding and quiet renewal. The combination of its art-filled streets, desert beauty, and spiritual openness has made it feel like a gentle transition point—a bridge between the busyness of travel and the deeper inner stillness that continues to unfold through devotion.
Every step forward feels guided, and the road ahead seems to shimmer with Krishna’s quiet promise: “I have it either way.”
