Flowing with Krishna’s Will: Sensing Divine Timing and Unmeasurable Growth on the Bhakti Path

During meditation, I had a realization that in Bhakti Yoga, the growth we experience is something we can feel but not fully quantify with our minds. This understanding deepened as I realized that spiritual success cannot truly be measured by the material mind or senses. Many Sanskrit scriptures speak about detachment and the importance of not focusing on outcomes, but simply doing things out of a desire to please God. As I felt an increasingly strong connection to Krishna, I found that when I engaged in actions that pleased Him, I was filled with bliss more and more.

Around this time, I began to sense that my energy at Ocean Beach was starting to diminish, and that my time there was coming to an end. The first time I felt this, I realized that there is a set time and flow for everything. If I stayed for too short a time, I wouldn’t complete what I was meant to do. But if I stayed too long, it would become more and more uncomfortable, as if I was resisting the flow of God’s plan and needed to move forward.
